(Wisconsin-Based Training)
1. Who are these foundational classes for?
These classes are designed for individuals interested in learning the fundamentals of early childhood education and care. This includes those exploring a career in early childhood, current child care staff seeking foundational knowledge, caregivers, assistants, and individuals interested in working with young children.

2. Do I need prior experience in early childhood education?
No prior experience is required. These trainings are introductory and intended for individuals who are new to early childhood concepts or seeking a foundational understanding of the field.

3. Do these classes meet Wisconsin licensing or Registry requirements?
Empowerment Training Agency is an approved training organization through The Registry, Inc. Courses are submitted for Registry approval, and approved trainings may count toward professional development hours. Participants are encouraged to confirm specific licensing or employment requirements with the Wisconsin Department of Children and Families (DCF) or their employer.
4. Will I receive a certificate after completing the class?
Yes. Participants will receive a certificate of completion from Empowerment Training Agency upon successful completion of the training. Certificates document participation and hours completed.

5. How long is each class?
The length of each class varies. Course duration, format, and instructional hours are clearly listed within each class description.
