If you want to be a help but not sure how, there is unlimited potential in fundraising. Fundraising can be exciting and fun as it brings together a community of people. Fundraising can be a small event or a big event, it's your choice. The most important part to remember is that any amount raised is a step closer to helping those in need.

Here are some fundraising ideas, but you can also create your own:

Car Wash : Host a community/neighborhood car wash
Bake sale : Sell your baked goods.
Selling Meals : Turn your cooking skills into contributions by selling your cooked meals.
Donation Jars : Decorate some jars and ask local stores to allow you to sit the jars inside for visitors to donate their "loose" change.
Yard Sale : Out with the old, in with the new! As you get ready to clean out the old, sell the items with a yard sale.
Mobile Phone Drive : Create a phone drive to where people can turn in their old phones that are not of use any longer. There are companies who will pay for old cell phones and the proceeds will go towards the organization.
Give It Up : Make a commitment to give up something (ex. coffee, going to the movies, eating out, etc.) for a month and donate the money saved .
Host a Shoe Drive : There is a company by the name of GotSneakers who allows you to turn in donated shoes and receive money in return.
